Mr Kevin Mills Associate Professor 8th Degree American Kenpo, 1st Degree Sub Level 4 Concepts

Associate Master Kevin J Mills is the Head and Chief Instructor of the British Kenpo Karate Union (“BKKU”).   Mr Mills began his training in 1981 under Grand Master Bob Rose.    Today Mr Mills is a student of Dr Ron Chapél of the Martial Science University “MSU” in Los Angeles where he began training in 2000, studying advanced American Kenpo concepts and its SL4 Kenpo Curriculum and is the European Director for SL4.

Mr Mills has also trained under Mr Thomas Sotis (AMOK! Edged Weapons Solutions) and retains his passion for blade work.

In 1989 Mr Mills was fortunate enough to meet the late SGM Edmund K Parker when he was giving a Seminar in Exeter under the IKKA.   SGM Parker’s charisma and great passion for the art left a lasting impression.

Throughout his time with the BKKU, Mr Mills has entered numerous semi-contact competitions both Kenpo and non-Kenpo related with great success and has coached a great many competitors to victory!
